With federal authorization of the first vaccines meant to help prevent COVID-19, Wyoming has begun the process of administering the COVID-19 vaccine. With limited initial availability, the state is using a phased approach. Phase 1 is when vaccines are in limited supply and are being allocated for administration to specific populations. A list of prioritized populations for Phase 1a and Phase 1b of the COVID-19 vaccine campaign can be found here.
A tentativevaccine distribution schedule for January broken down by county is available here.
Most counties are currently in Phase 1b. This generally includes people who are 70 years of age or older, and frontline essential workers who must interact with the public and are unable to consistently physically distance from others. Contact information for each county as well as county-level status updates are available from the Wyoming Department of Health.
